beach city community located in southern Orange County, California. It is a
popular local destination for surfing and was home to a legendary surf break
called Killer Dana. The Ocean Institute
is
an incredible educational resource with children’s day camps, overnight
experiences, and boat excursions from themed pirate ship trips to wildlife
cruises. The Ocean Institute has several educational sea exhibits. Dana Point
is known as the “Whale
Capital of the West” because several types of whales use the
point as a navigational landmark on their migrations north or south. Dana Point
Harbor whale watching boats provide amazing experiences with these majestic
animals off the Dana Point coast. Not only is their coastal beauty in Dana
Point but plenty of Shopping & great Restaurants. Dana Point
Harbor: No matter what the
occasion, the shopping at the Dana Point Harbor will fulfill your every need and
heart´s desire from the many options at Dana Wharf, Mariner´s Village, and
Mariner’s Alley. If your destination is Dana Point, stay at one of the many Hotels available: Marina Inn, Marriott Hotel or
Doubletree. All have beautiful ocean views!
