COLOR CRUSH = Navy + Coral

I am color crazy. If I had the time, money and energy I would probably makeover each room in my house once a year. Its not that I don't like what I have, it's just that each time I receive a magazine a catalog or turn the television on to HGTV their is a color combo that I absolutely fall in love with. My latest color crush is Navy & Coral. What's your Color Crush?

Take it outside!
Or how about this color combo for a wedding?

Outdoor Furniture, Fabrics & Accessories - - - Indoor Use

Here are 3 reasons that come to mind why buying Outdoor furniture, fabrics and accessories work for use Indoors:

1.  It's affordable

Like this Casbah Chair from Pier 1 Imports. I purchased 2 for my tiny kitchen nook for less than $200.

2. It's Durable!

Dash & Albert has lot's of Indoor rug's but I chose and Outdoor rug for it's durability since I have 2 small dachshunds.

SUNBRELLA Fabrics have come along way. Pretty Patterns, soft hand and oh-so easy to clean!

3. Fabulous Accessories !!

Bring in some light with Malta Lanterns from Pottery Barn

I love using Garden Stools via Pinterest inside in place of coffee and or side tables.

Kitchen Inspiration: Open Shelves

I have a small "U" shaped kitchen. I have thought about what would make my kitchen appear larger without knocking down walls and came up with what I think would be the perfect solution, Open Shelves.

Whether you choose to keep your existing cabinets and remove the doors or build floating or supported shelves here are a few ideas that just may get you started thinking about opening up your own kitchen!

I love this look for your "pretty" dishes.

You can always decorate your dishware with pictures and flora.

I have a corner that I would love to do this look with. See how they kept existing cabinets to the right.

Another open shelf I love!

How about adding a pretty fabric to the back?
Shelves on each side of a window......
I love them all.
Which one or one's do you like?

Decorating with the color TEAL

Living by the coast gives me the opportunity to go to the beach whenever I want sand between my toes. The color of the Pacific changes with the tide. Sometimes it is a vivid glassy blue but sometimes it is more of a Teal.
Teal is the combination of the colors blue and green. Did you know that the color Teal is named after the Common Teal, a member of the duck family, whose eyes are surrounded by the color?
Teal is one of those colors that is rich and saturated. A color that goes well with chocolate browns. Add white to it and you get turquoise which always reminds me of the ocean.

Take it outside.......

Adding Lime Green makes this combination fun .and casual

Why not in the kitchen?

Very dreamy in the bedroom~~~

Or go BOLD !

Coastal Sophisticated

Calming Teal
